Saffron is a spice derived from the stigmas of the Crocus sativus flower. It has a characteristic taste and aroma, and is used in many different types of food.

Saffron has a pleasantly bitter flavor.


HOW TO USE:

 Add 10-12 strands of saffron to HOT milk. Let this liquid sit aside for 1-2 hours. The longer you soak, the better colour and flavor you will get. Add this golden liquid to your dishes. NOTE: Saffron should NOT be soaked in COLD milk.
